Feeling a Little Down Under?

Here for the best pickup EVER are several members from The Thunder From Down Under Male Revue. They are here to get us through the final grind, so to speak.

The Thunder are here acting as Ambassadors of Good Will, since the previous record-holders hail from the Sutherland Shire Public Library, Sutherland Shire, New South Wales, Australia. Lends a little closure to this whole process, doesn't it?

to the ladies and gentleman of the guieness world records readers,

If i must say the ladies especially still look quite fresh for not much sleep over the last 5 days.

Best of luck guy's on your new record and best of luck in the future in holding this record for as long as possible.

P.S not very happy that you beat our home country.....JUST KIDDING, very happy for you all.

P.S.S. - Aussies get your asses in gear and aim for 150 hours next time round....or else maybe we might suggest some of our members to help out...a couple of them have pretty good staying power when it comes to functioning with very little sleep.

Well It was great to see that our fellow aussies held this record but It seems that the Americans are going to take it this year ! Maybe next year New Zealand can put fourth a challenge and there can be a friendly rivalry between the great countrys !!
Congrats to Las Vegas NV

Ummmm....isn't it some kind of cruel and unusual punishment to bring in a bunch of hot men when the ladies haven't showered for several days??? I think someone could be arrested for this infraction!

Too bad Bryan isn't from "down under"...otherwise he could do an on-site audition using his "Flashdance" moves! Yowza!

Just so you know, Sutherland Library is in New South Wales, not Queensland :)

These guys were great, but only MAE could have continued to read while they draped themselves all around her as she spoke those not always delicate words from Robyn Carr's latest romance novel!

I had never seen Mae blush before! Timing is everything!

A very special thanks to the "Thunder from Down Under" Adam, Damian, Marty and David as well as Penny their press agent, they were very happy to help.

Also a special thank you to Bryan from the team, it was inspired by him!

Queensland and NSW are states, not cities. . . .

Obviously we would fail dismally at setting the Guinness World Record for most knowledge of Geography! And we call ourselves librarians--well, I am actually in Acquisitions and Bibliographic Services, so I have an excuse... ;)

I think it just means that we should all go to Australia ASAP to bone up on our geography. : )
