We are not getting too much news from the outside world. Did anything happen we should knwo about (except MJ)? How are the libraries doing?

Vivian and I are busy as usual here at PVL Circ on Tuesday nights. Looks like Patricia and Alyson are just about the same over at Ref. :)

How are you guys doing? Keeping sane?

Slow here at Gibson...slow enough to haul the donations boxes that have been piling up in the reference office to the donation staging area, a.k.a. around your office.

It reached over 100 degrees in the fair, outside world today...a wee bit warmer than in your cozy reading room...that's the only news I caught today, so I guess we've learned we can't count on me for current events!

7.0 quake struck at 7:51 p.m. (10:51 p.m. EDT) and was located roughly 90 miles offshore, just south of the California-Oregon state line.

A tsunami warning was issued a short time after the quake but was later canceled.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

Got ice cream?
